Dental Public Health Job at Academic Center!
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic, preventive, and therapeutic dental services in accordance with hospital policies and clinical protocols.
- Provide dental care to medically compromised patients, including those undergoing cancer treatment, cardiac procedures, or organ transplantation.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and specialists as part of an integrated care team.
- Treat dental emergencies and provide on-call coverage as assigned.
- Supervise and mentor dental residents or students, if applicable.
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school.
- Active, unrestricted dental license in WV.
- Hospital dentistry experience preferred (or completion of a GPR or AEGD program).
- BLS and/or ACLS certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to delivering patient-centered care in a diverse healthcare setting.

Schedule:
- Full-time; Monday–Friday with occasional weekend or on-call coverage as needed
