Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic, preventive, and therapeutic dental services in accordance with hospital policies and clinical protocols.
  • Provide dental care to medically compromised patients, including those undergoing cancer treatment, cardiac procedures, or organ transplantation.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and specialists as part of an integrated care team.
  • Treat dental emergencies and provide on-call coverage as assigned.
  • Supervise and mentor dental residents or students, if applicable.
  • Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

  • DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school.
  • Active, unrestricted dental license in WV.
  • Hospital dentistry experience preferred (or completion of a GPR or AEGD program).
  • BLS and/or ACLS certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to delivering patient-centered care in a diverse healthcare setting.

Schedule:

  • Full-time; Monday–Friday with occasional weekend or on-call coverage as needed
