Pediatric Neurology Position in Capital City of WV

We are seeking a second fellowship-trained Pediatric Neurologist. The successful candidate must be a BE/BC in Pediatric Neurology.

This position will focus on a clinical practice with experience in the teaching of residents and medical students. Interest in clinical research will be actively supported.

The practice is located at our Women and Children’s Hospital, a regional tertiary center for children, with referrals from twenty surrounding counties. It includes a 30-bed inpatient pediatric unit, a 6-bed PICU with 4 additional transitional care beds staffed by board-certified pediatric intensivists, and a Level III 26-bed NICU staffed

24/7 by in-house board-certified neonatologists.

This Neurology group is a growing practice that will provide the right candidate with an exceptional opportunity to make a significant impact in an area that services a 10-county region. The ideal candidate will practice general neurology with the ability to develop subspeciality practice applicable to training to experience.  Sleep lab, EEG, NCS and EMG’s are some areas of need.  You will be part of a practice that is located within minutes of the Community Hospital and office hours are M-F 8-4:30 and call coverage will be required.
