Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and manage patients with a variety of laryngeal and voice disorders, including vocal cord nodules, polyps, paralysis, and laryngeal cancer.
  • Perform diagnostic procedures such as laryngoscopy, videostroboscopy, and voice analysis to assess vocal function and formulate individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate closely with speech-language pathologists, and other specialists to optimize patient outcomes and rehabilitation.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary conferences, case discussions, and educational activities to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical protocols and best practices within the field of laryngology.

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution
  • Residency training in Otolaryngology (ENT)
  • Fellowship training in Laryngology
  • Board certification or eligibility in Otolaryngology
  • Eligibility for medical licensure in West Virginia
  • Expertise in the diagnosis and management of laryngeal and voice disorders
  • Proficiency in laryngeal endoscopy and interpretation of voice assessments
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to patient-centered care, collaboration, and lifelong learning
